A bright, translucent, medium purple core, leading to a narrow pink rim. A delightfully fragrant nose of spring flowers, red berry and white tree fruits, with notes of white pepper, mixed spices, garrigue herbs and damp earth. Massively fruity in the mouth, again with red fruits to the fore (raspberry, red cherry, redcurrant), it really is so fresh and full of youthful vigour, with subtle pepper and spice nuances, fine tannins and a touch of earthy minerality and mouth-watering cherry and soft citrus acidity. A sweet-sour delight, with a long, tangy finish. Wonderful stuff! |
