Ultra-pale, limpid gold/silver colour. As you might expect, the Muscat dominates the nose - the aromas are intensely grapey, with subtle hints of peach, apple, flowers and freshly cut grass. The palate is similarly fruity, with the Macabeu adding an intensity to the flavour and a little complexity, whilst remaining bone dry and refreshingly zesty. Additional notes of garrigue herbs, grapefruit and lime, a touch of saline minerality and plenty of acidity all add up to an extremely refreshing, mouth-watering wine, which is perfect as an aperitif, but goes equally well with food. |
