Ultra-pale straw/gold colour, with green glints. The nose is super-fresh and perfumed, with a really quite complex array of lemon/lime, nectarine and apple fruit aromas, mingled with notes of elderflower, honeysuckle, garrigue herbs, spices and wet stone. The palate is similarly fresh and vibrant, with zesty citrus and white fruit flavours, quite a rich - though essentially bone dry - texture, a touch of saline minerality and laser-like acidity, with a long, tangy, mouth-watering finish. A lovely, refreshing wine, ideal as an aperitif, but also a lovely match for shellfish, fish dishes or even hard cheeses. |
